Page 3: Stohrer Patissier Page 3 of 4
The Stohrer Patissier is a historic bakery that has been serving Parisians since 1730. This little jewel is located midpoint along the rue Montorgueil and provides an jawdropingly vivid assortment of products ranging from sweet to savory. Along with the ubiquitous buche de noel that is found around every corner during the holiday season, an myriad of tarts, pastries and bon bons line the glass shelves one one side of the restaurant.
Oh, what to choose?! The choices seem endless. Treats of every description, for chocolate lovers and those without. Parisian renditions of pastries from Portugal, Spain and other regions across Europe. And while many bakeries stop at just sweets, Stohrer takes it a step farther by offering savory delicacies just right across the store.
The visual feast in the savory section of Stohrer Patissier is amazing in its variety. From salmon jellies and lagostines delicated perched atop flake pastry, to rotis shaped like clam shells, it is definitely hard to know where to start. One can easily spend a week trying out the variety of items in the store and still be only getting started. Click below to continue Article -
